Detective Tim Rowe graduated LETC in 2008, after receiving 730 hours of law enforcement training. Detective Rowe began his law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff with the Saline County Sheriff’s Department in January, 2009.
In September, 2009, Detective Rowe began his employment with the Moberly Police Department as a Patrolman. In 2011, while a Patrolman, Detective Rowe was involved in an incident involving an armed, barricaded, suicidal subject. Detective Rowe assumed the role of Crisis Negotiator, and after negotiating with the subject for several hours over the telephone, was able to resolve the situation without any injuries sustained by the subject, or officers at the scene. In May, 2012, Detective Rowe was appointed as a Field Training Officer. Detective Rowe was named Moberly Police Department Officer of the Year for 2012.
In July, 2012, Detective Rowe was promoted to the Criminal Investigations Unit. While assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit, Detective Rowe has conducted several narcotics investigations which have resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana and currency. Detective Rowe is also a full-time member of the Moberly Police Department SWAT Team. Detective Rowe has received specialized training in the areas of Crash Investigation and Crime Scene Photography.
